You are Enough

My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous; 2 and he is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world.
You are enough as you are.  God loves you the way you are right now.  Not tomorrow, not as soon as you do this or confess every stray human thought that crosses your mind, not on the condition that you go to church five times a week, God loves you now.  Right now.  You are enough.  Not because of anything you did or didn't do but because of the nature of God.

God will love you tomorrow.  God will love you the next day.  He will love you when you're ugly, drunk, and dirty.  He will love when you're beautiful, sober, and clean.   God loves you as you are, because God is enough.

It's going to be okay, and you don't have to insist on taking the long way home, but if you do, God will walk with you.  Even while you pretend you're alone, that you can't hear him or believe in him, and dance along the road like you're all alone.  God will be there.
