Why do I watch Doctor Who? Because I love fairy tales, and it's a fairy tale. It's a fairy tale about a crazy alien who travels all of time and space in a phone booth armed with a screwdriver, his brains, and a few friends---and saves the world without returning violence for violence. Over and over again. Yes, It's corny, it's low tech, it's slightly insane, but it's GOOD.
