I watched this video on upworthy.com and it occurred to me that the whole Church (not just the "Romans" as I call them) needs to hear this. If we can't speak up against bad stuff before everyone else decides it's a good idea, what are we for? Seriously what does keeping up the budget by not offending anyone do to advance the Kingdom of God?
What good is having a church if all it does is exist? My research on the civil rights movement and churches revealed a disturbing trend in Christianity. ..we're on the right side of history as soon as it's apparent what it is. Jesus certainly wasn't concerned about waiting for a consensus. I don't think we should be either.
